UPDATE:
Brother was adopted in March 2005. He is very happy with his new
family and he also has another dog to play with. They say he is the
sweetest dog! Thanks to Len and Debbie Springer for sponsoring
Brother and taking care of the medical costs associated with his
recovery!
Brother was Hope's companion in misery. Thanks to a neighbor's vigilance, they were both removed by the animal control services from the place where they were "living". Brother was in bad shape but for some reason, his health was not as compromised as Hope's. Brother gained 24 lbs (from 31 lbs to 55 lbs), was neutered and partially treated for heartworm.
Brother is between one and two years old and is so grateful to have been rescued: he always has a happy look on his face. He likes the company of other dogs and is quite playful. He is also good with children. His eyes are beautiful and very expressive. How could somebody be so cruel to him and Hope?
Below are a few pictures "before"
and "after". On the last two pictures, you can see the special bond
between Brother and Hope: they have been through so much
together!
