Our 4th annual FUNdraising event, Pooches in
the Park, took place on September 26th, 2004 at Parc des Ponts de
Pont Breaux, in Breaux Bridge. We raised
$2,400 and benefits will go to
the St. Martin Humane Society for spay/neuter certificates.
There was live music, an agility demonstration from the
Acadiana
Kennel Club,
a petting zoo, food and
drinks, face painting, picture taking, games and balloons for the
kids, dog contests and much
more!
PETsMART showed pet training tricks.
Music was provided by 97.3FM, "The Dawg", and Rouxfus was there
for our entertainment! We all had a lot of fun and are looking
forward to next year's Pooches in the Park!
A big thank you to those who gave a helping hand, or donated
prizes, we appreciate you so much and we could not have done it
without you!
