Update: Thanks to the donations of Len & Debbie Springer and Labmed, Buck underwent heartworm treatment and is now heartworm free!

Buck is a beautiful black Lab that has been taken in by someone in St. Martinville. He came upon her home, and has decided to stay. When he arrived, he was quite hungry and was recovering from a leg injury. His disposition is awesome and he is a perfect candidate for Labs4Rescue. BUT... Buck is heartworm positive and needs to be treated first. It looks like he has a place to stay, but he is in need of donations to help pay for his treatment. It will be $175 - $200. Anything you can do to help would be greatly appreciated! If you cannot help at this time, please keep him in your thoughts as we take him through the journey of being homeless to going to a forever home. He is a great dog and deserves every chance we can give him!
